SS-31, also written elamipretide, is a synthetic tetrapeptide from the Szeto–Schiller series, referenced in research on mitochondrial membrane biology for its association with cardiolipin. Supplied strictly as a reference material for in-vitro laboratory research, as a 50 mg lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial.
