Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase from MrPep (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Research use only

All products are supplied strictly as reference materials for laboratory research. They are not medicines, foods, supplements or cosmetics, are not for human or animal consumption, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. See our Research Use Only policy, which forms part of these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. By ordering you confirm you meet these requirements and that you are purchasing for lawful research purposes only.

3. Orders & acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion — including where stock is unavailable, where we suspect the product may be intended for a prohibited use, or where required documentation or age confirmation is not provided.

4. Pricing

Prices are shown in GBP and may change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed as dispatched. We try to ensure prices and descriptions are accurate; in the event of an obvious error we may cancel and refund the affected order.

5. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout, primarily via Fena Pay-by-Bank (Open Banking), a secure bank-to-bank transfer authenticated in your own banking app. We do not store your card or bank credentials. Orders are not dispatched until payment has cleared.

6. Delivery & risk

Delivery is covered in our Shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. For orders outside the UK you are the importer of record and responsible for any duties, taxes and local legality.

7. Returns

Because these are health-sensitive research materials, returns are not accepted once dispatched. Transit damage and picking errors are covered as set out in our Returns policy.

8. No advice & no warranty of fitness

Nothing on this site — including product pages, the Knowledge Hub and any calculator or tool — is medical, clinical, veterinary or professional advice. Products are supplied “as is” for research. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that any product is fit for any particular purpose beyond the analytical characteristics stated on its certificate.

9. Prohibited use & compliance

You must not use, resell or supply any product for human or animal consumption or for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to you. You agree to indemnify us against any loss arising from your misuse of a product or breach of these terms.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, branding, the MrPep name and logo, imagery and layout — is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from use of a product outside its research-only purpose.

12. Privacy

We process personal data only to fulfil your order and operate the site, in line with UK data-protection law. We do not sell your data.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your order.
