A 1 ml fixed-needle syringe with a low dead space design and volume markings in millilitres rather than insulin units, which makes small measured volumes easier to read accurately.

The Unisharp range is colour-coded by gauge; the colours originated as a way of preventing syringes of different sizes being confused with one another. The 30G needle is very fine, which supports precise handling of small volumes.
